Platinum Crush and Norfolk Crush Begin Processing Soybeans
CPM|Crown is proud to have supplied the preparation and extraction equipment and complete processes for two brand new soybean processing plants: Platinum Crush, LLC in Alta, Iowa and Norfolk Crush, LLC in Norfolk, Nebraska. Each year, these plants will process a combined 77 million bushels of soybeans and produce 1.6 million tons of soybean meal, 900 million pounds of soybean oil and 154,000 tons of soybean hulls. CPM|Crown was chosen to be part of these projects because we provide the robust and efficient oilseed preparation and extraction equipment and processes needed to handle their massive volumes. Our ability to provide optimal solvent recovery will enable these plants to operate more economically and sustainably. These new plants will positively impact the agricultural communities in which they operate, help meet growing local and global demand for protein, and support the expanding renewable fuels industry.
